Downhill Ride at Sunrise

Start the day with an energizing bike ride through beautiful scenery as the sunrise illuminates the landscape and resets your circadian rhythm. Begin your ride at the village of Tamansari on the slopes of Ijen mountain. Stop at the Kalibendo coffee and rubber plantation, where coffee and a light bite provide time to rest, recharge, and savour the flavours of the land. If you'd like, you can tour the rubber and coffee processing factory (optional at a fee), where the processes are still very much done by hand.
Continue your downhill journey to Kemiren Village, where you can observe the distinctive architecture of the Osing ethnic people of Banyuwangi, an encounter that will enrich your appreciation of local culture.
The ride back to the hotel is approximately 15 km, mostly downhill.

Itinerary :
- 04.45 – Wake-up call.
- 05.15 – Admire the sunrise from the hotel pool or lobby.
- 05.30 – Depart from the hotel.
- 06.15 – Arrive at the Tamansari carpark for the start of your bike ride.
- 06.35 – Cycle on to Kalibendo coffee and rubber plantation for coffee and a light bite, with the option to tour the rubber and coffee processing factory.
- 07.15 – Stop by Kemiren Village to observe the Osing traditional houses and Osing women in traditional dress going about daily life.
- 07.45 – Enjoy the fresh air and scenery on the final downhill stretch.
- 08.15 – Arrive back at the hotel.
