“Alas Purwo“ means “ancient forest“ in Javanese. The national park is not only well known for its wildlife and a great surfing spot called G-Land but also for traditional Javanese mysticism; followers believe that this jungle has been a holy place and a safe haven for spirits, ghosts and supernatural life for thousands of years.

Travel by 4x4 jeep to this magnificent forest where you’ll get to see the endangered Javanese bull (Bos Javanicus) in its original habitat, and enjoy a biking adventure through the forest.
